Sad way to go

by Crystal - Virgo

You remember
that last day
thhe sunlight took your breath away
so pretty and peaceful that day
you wanted it to forever be that way

Then one night
after a party
they got in a car
so drunk it wasn't even funny
just chillin and havin fun
until the crash
that sure ended their fun

He went to the emergency room
you cried on the way
you thought he wasn'ty that way
they couldn't save him
he died in hs sleep
after surgery
he was in a leap

Now he's in a coffin
that;s no fun
now he'll never ever see the sun
you sit and cry
and start to think
could i hve saved him
if i'd gotten the keys

you stop and blink
you look up there
there's his mom
just standing there
looking at her little boy
just lying there
she starts to cry
you feel bad
you want to start over
hey it's to bad

It didnt have to end this way
your heart was torn
it'll mend some day
but this is what happens when you drink and drive
you lose someone you love
and you die inside

Don't be stupid
grab the keys
make sure your friend doesn't get to leave
She watched her life long love
drive away
forever that day
so he's gone now
forever ablisss

So was it the worth
the price they payed
to drink and drive
as they sped away?

So remember to think
before you let them go
is is worth it
to let them
or you
to throw your life away
just o drink and drive
on another day?

If your smart
think this way
it's stupid to drink and drivelike that kid that day
and if your friend will drive away
get those keys
or it could be their...
last day

note: it's really stupid to drink and drive
I have lost many close people to me because of it. don't screw up like they did. it isn't worth it

Reason for writing:

I wrote this because so many teens drink and drive
there are so many accidents i have lost many people. including my brother sister and my cousin. it isn't worth it. please don't drink and drive. be smart.
