To the fact that to be forgiven, one must first apologize
The hardest thing that I must face is to humble myself inside

I hear the voice that calls me, to do what I know is right
To release a hidden burden that I've fought with all my might

Or freedom from this stronghold, till my burden I release
I lay this burden before You, light my path toward my release
Remove what pride is left in me and cause this pain to cease
You have placed me in the fire, to purify and to refine
And to melt away this stronghold that now occupies my mind
