strength

strength means more to me than any guy ever will
it means endurance
the will to continue on
it means waking up in the morning
looking at your face in the mirror
and saying- i will do this
i will get through today
and whatever obstacles it brings
and learn from it
it means standing by your best friend
in her time of need
even if there is nothing you can do to help her
and it hurts you to see her in pain
you show the strength by being beside her
and giving her the strength to face what she has to face in return
it means allowing yourself to just let go of everything holding you down
preventing you from reaching your goal
and fighting it
battling it 
until you win
it means giving up things that you hold dear
in order to save someone else
but most of all
strength is the most important thing
to me right now
because it has saved my life.
