too many times you came so close to breaking my heart,
but this time you did.
you acted like it didn't matter to you at all,
when I know it did.

you don't love someone for years,
and then fall out of feeling.
you don't tell them you love them,
and walk out with their heart your stealing.

too many times I've come so close to breaking,
you were the reason for my unhappiness.
you should've just killed me on your way out the door.
it would have hurt much less.
