You know,
sometimes poetry can say things so artfully,
so discreetly,
so full of emotion and amazing visual images
that you lose sight of the direct meaning.
You forget what they mean exactly,
you get distracted by all the colorful descriptions,
the beautiful use of diction and structure,
the ability to show you what you could never describe
yourself.
Sometimes--
oftentimes--
it might be better to tell them
solely
what you mean.
"I love you."
That means I feel so powerfully about you
that I can express it in millions of different ways
and confuse the hell outta both of us,
but when i say it i mean exactly that,
an emotion that truly cannot be described in full with
mere words.
Let me show you.
Just let me first say,
with the full meaning and
sense
of the phrase:
"I love you."
Just let that be.
Remember me.
And I'll let you float endlessly,
Free.
Reason for writing:
Sometimes.. I just say too much.
