Within a year, my life has fallen Taken on new meaning I've grown, matured, overcome Still fighting the battle life has given to me to bleed I will never give up Never give in Never show my weaknesses For I've survived for too long. I have put up defenses I have knocked them down I have gone on walking through danger signs and one way roads Telling me to go back I don't belong There's hell up ahead Yet I've held strong.
