Resting

by Joanie Harrison - Taurus

Now that you are laying me to rest,
I'm asking God to give you the best.
If you must lay a rose upon my chest,
Lay it down with sweet tenderness.
Let the pain pass on by,
Cause I don't want to see you cry.
Don't drownd yourself in sorrow,
Because there is a better tomorrow.
The best you are,
And the best you gave.
And yes,I'm carrying it to my grave.
There is no love like a mothers love,
And I will always feel it from up above.
And on a special day we meet again,
As if I was a child once again.
So for me just carry on,
As if I was never really gone.
I know the pain is making tears fall like rain,
you probally feel like you have been hit by a train.
But,carry on.Because I love you.

Reason for writing:

writing this 1 by inspiration of a death but it was designed 4 my mom if i shall go....
