First it was your hand Resting upon my leg Then your other hand reached over To hold my free hands Later on the green couch Sitting on the same side as always Your arms wrapped around me And you squeezed me so tight My heart did burst As I watched your hands disappear under the cotton And how nice your hands felt Running along my sides Along my back and I would giggle Not only from the feeling But from the feeling Of being an adult but feeling so damn young
