Touch

by Heather Williams - Libra

First it was your hand
Resting upon my leg
Then your other hand reached over
To hold my free hands
Later on the green couch
Sitting on the same side as always
Your arms wrapped around me
And you squeezed me so tight
My heart did burst
As I watched your hands disappear under the cotton
And how nice your hands felt
Running along my sides
Along my back and I would giggle
Not only from the feeling
But from the feeling
Of being an adult but feeling so damn young

Reason for writing:

Oh the wonderful power of touch. :)
