I'm really upset
I don't know what to do
You're like my best friend
but I think I'm starting to like you.
I get that funny feeling
Every time I see you
It's hard to believe
but I know it's true.
I know you don't feel the same
And I'm sure you never will
But that doesn't change me
Or the way I feel.
Tonight before I left
you hugged me tight
And even though it meant nothing to you
It absolutely made my night.
I don't think I'll ever tell you
Exactly how i feel
Because our friendship means so much
I just don't think I'll ever deal.
But maybe one day
I'll get the nerve to tell you how I feel
Then maybe we can be more than friends
Maybe we can have something real.
