Dream Weaver

by Chelle Wood - Cancer

I wove a dream
Of moons and stars
And cast a spell
On gloomy hours
For which no more
I wish to spend
But dare to hope
At evening's end
That I will sleep
A thousand days
And wake no more
To troubled haze
But journey forth
On silver wings
And relish in
Such wondrous things
As midnight filled
With glorious streamers
And shadow play
Of fellow dreamers
