There are places I remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places
Have their moments
With people and friends
I can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all
But out of all these friends and lovers
There is no one
Who compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love
As something new
I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I'll often stop and think
In my life I've loved you more
