I'm slowly losing you, in my dreams
No longer feeling, the need to scream
The tears have lessened, as each day passes
My heart is healing, from the gashes

I seldom utter your name out loud
Though my heart's covered in a shroud
Bound by this awful bleakness
You are my only weakness

Losing you, I know was best
Forgetting you, is the hardest test
One day, I won't remember you
When asked, I'll answer... Who?
