Jumpers Revenge

by Ashley Platz - Leo

High Jumpers Revenge
Training all winter, not getting very far,
Feeling as if you'll never get over that bar,
The first meets are here, and ready to go
but somehow u feel, your approach is to slow,
But how can u fix it, they're ready to start,
your mind is already clear, & u cant remember that part,
You decide to wing it, and tie up your shoes,
Step up to your mark, and have nothign to loose,
Opening height is stressful, but you know u can clear,
After all you've been doing this for over a year.
So Relax, and calm down, you will do fine,
all u need to tell yourself now is...
"That bar...is mine!"

Reason for writing:

    Thursdays track meet
