The Real Nightmare

by Heather Williams - Libra

We hung out "just as friends" last night
It was everything I could do
To not reach over and take your hand
It was an awkward goodbye
I pictured myself hugging you
But you didn't touch me at all
Can I help it if I feel used?
I was a filler for your horny desire
Nothing more
Everything less
I woke up every hour on the hour
Crying out your name
Wanting to run my hands through your hair
Wanting to feel your body on top of mine
Or at least our finges intertwined
