Tap on Her Window

by E. Alonzo - Sagittarius

Tap, tap, tap
"Can you hear me?"
She should be awake…
Tap, tap, tap
"Time to wake up…
	Time to WAKE up."
Hmmm…
Here is the logic in my action,
I figured to stand on my heavy thoughts
To reach your bed room window
Gently tap on its protective layer
Yet breakable skin
Like the sunrise does for you
At every dawn
And warm you with the
Cool touch of my confessions
Like the morning's wind on your face.
See, I have been planning this
Many nights and days
Baked in the heat of your desires
And weighed by the cloak of your dreams.
See, you want so much
You want chivalry, imagination, stability
Honesty, mystery, energy, calm
Romance, lust
You want everything you don't grab.
You want a million fantasies
That you toss in the air
For someone to find.
You hand them to the moon
To distribute into stars
And expect "him"
To be wishing on them as they sprinkle by.
But you don't get it.
You never act upon yourself
You dream and that's it.
Everything I have known of you
Is one of your romance novels
And nothing else.
I remember
One time
Where you rose with life
And indulged in a love.
A summer morning,
All mornings
You confess aloud
Your pleasure in the sunrise
The sound, scent, touch, taste
Only time you welcome your stars
Back.
That is why I am here this morning
To WAKE you
To your sunrise
To love
Grabbing chance with your blinds are open
I am taping your window
Before the sun
Because I can give you more
Of what you want than him…
