Places of Supplication Puddles on dirty cobblestones Wore films of spent rainbows. Clouds rested on rooftops and Tear-streaked windows misted. Dejected curs sniffed the air and A rag tag army of washing hung On balconies. Sunday morning Silence broken by church bells, Subdued voices and slamming Car doors of the faithful going to Mass. Unseen, in doorways and Under arches, restless men with Tormented eyes waited for the bar To open and release them from The agony of their lonely infernoBirth sign: Scorpio
