Serenity spoke so softly- I cupped my hands around my ear, straining to hear- The wind rushed her voice again- Though the storm's thunder angered the clouds to gray and black- Still, Serenity's voice spoke to everyone with a timeless tongue- She said "The hourglass has no sand in its belly, No time to rush, no time to fear, No time for time..."
Reason for writing:
I was in a green van traveling the coast of Sonoma County. Ended up at the beach, eating crab, drinking beer, and watching the sun go down with good friends. So much serenity in one sitting.
