Roses

by Heather Williams - Libra

I make roses out of frosting
For the children to eat
I grow roses in the garden
For my sister to smell
I bought roses for my mother
When she turned 42
I cut my hand on a rose thorn
I cut my feet on the weeds
I grow a rose in my heart
For you to pick when you finally just realize...

Reason for writing:

    Waiting patiently for love.
