growing up at 2 a.m. and walking away from this house you beat her again my mom is bleeding from the head what did she do this time was the spaghetti sauce not just right did your tacos get cold because you were with the whore down the street i remember the day you beat her so bad that i saw her blood flow that's my mother's blood and you left her there to die just put her in the bed when she passed out after you strangled her and the black eye was really bad concealer didn't even help i remember the night i was kicked out because i wasn't her i refused to take another beating so this house isn't mine anymore you hated me for that but i still don't care at 12 years old i had more sence than you will in all your years i remember the beatings and even though you can't hurt me anymore when i close my eyes at night i can still hear the screaming knowing i'm next and yes i'm still afraid because i know i'll get a beating and i can still feel the punches and kicks and everything you did but i will never let you hurt me again NEVER
