The Rage

Pinpoints of light
pierce the void
with tenacious fortitude
Restless
Relentless
Jagged edged blades
tear at the surface
hindering rational thought
Gut wrenching
Guileless
Razor sharp shards
of glass
slice through the calm
Unconscionable
Unreasonable
Blood boils,
surging and festering
with mind numbing blindness
Scathing 
Seething
Anger oozes
into every pore;
control is lost
No stopping
No turning back
the rage...
