I gaze out the window this cold winter's nite, the snow is falling on a blanket of white. The lights on the houses are twinkling in the snow, and carolers walk by putting on a show. The fire is burning and the room is aglow. I watch you hang the mistletoe, the stockings on the chimney and the lights on the tree, the spirit of Christmas is within you and me. The night has arrived where Old Nick take's his flight, jingling the bells with great delight. Dropping off presents here and there I can hear him singing in the air. With cookies and milk and carrots to, there's nothing that Old Santa can't do. He goes up and down the chimney without a fight and has reindeer pulling his sled for the nite. So Christmas my friend is found by not what we buy, but by the spirit of you and I. We come together as a whole neighbors, family, and friends to show. It could be found by the old and the young, and for many other's in the year's to come. So do your part to keep the Christmas Season alive in your heart.
Reason for writing:
