RAPE

by Christy Craig - Libra

RAPE

A little girl inocent as can be
Dropped off at a place knowing
When the wife left, there was a man
A man who was sick, really sick
He pulled the little girl in his room
And this is where it began
A life of being rape every morning before school
The little girl cried because she would hurt inside
Every morning before her mother dropped her off
she would cry
Momma never knew why
Just thought she didnt want to go to school
But she sure had her fooled
Everyday after school, she would take a shower
Wash, wash and wash, but it never went away
Crying as the water slowly beat down upon her
Praying lord when will this end
Then another little child was told by the little girl
The pain that she felt every morning and every night
Bless that little child who told her mom
As the little girl sit in the car
The mother had just came from school in a conference
The girl sit in the car scared when momma
With a sad look on her face says tell me what's happened
Dont lie, cause i know
The little girl broke down in tear crying so loud
Momma, its my fault, I let him touch me
Momma, had tears in her eyes
The little girls prayers had came true
Finally the little girl grew to be a woman
And just now realized it wasnt her fault
She was only six and the pain ended at nine
Thank you little girl that saved my life
I'll alway remember you in my prayers.

Reason for writing:

This actually happened to me as a child, the reason I wrote this is hoping that someone will see this and understand that its not your fault. Tell someone. And pray a little prayer
