Love is portrayed as perfect No arguments, no tears No crossovers or intersects No sad, hurt feeling or fear People think if you look for love That love is what you’ll find Love is thought that it comes from up above But, these are myths that play with the mind Love is being able to feel Being able to trust Love isn’t fake, it’s all real Having a heart is a must Love is not actions or words Love is a feeling from inside Love is not sent by a letter or a bird To feel love, you must open your heart & mind That’s Love!
Reason for writing:
My reason for this poem was for those who think that love is all this nice, happy stuff. There is alot to love people forget to mention in songs and stories. I thought I would try and explain that in my poem. Enjoy!
