i see your lost eyes
and i want to tell you that you're found
you hide it all away
i want to open you up
my eyes hold secrets too
have they told them to you?
i want to take your hand
i want you to let me care
i know i'm pushing
but i have seen those eyes before
they are mine, identical match
deep brown and full of sadness
afraid to look into other eyes
your chiseled face turns away
but see me, i plead
you are different
just like me
why aren't you running from me
but why won't you let me in
let me end that pain
let me carry it for you
i want to take it all away
just for you to let it go
