When you feel her presence in the room it's like a great weight lifted off the tension She doesn't mind if she makes a fool of herself 'Cause we always do it together It's just me and her in a world just for us to do the stupid things we wanna and not have a reason...ever We're two of a kind, me and her Like a pair of warm fuzzies after a stressful day When you feel her presence in the room It's like nothing has to be serious like it's ok to laugh even at the most awkward times It's like you have to learn to become more unpredictable like me and her have always been Even though you think she's psyched A little part of you, deep down inside is yearning to be just like her, Just like Alicia
Reason for writing:
This poem is about my best friend, Alicia, and I. We are dubbed the outcasts at school, for we both like to be different. She has a great sense of humor, and will always be my best friend.
(And Yes, Angelica is my real name!)
