I thought she was a boy as I walked in With my freshly peirced navel My blond curly hair and my yellow sweater She was wearing faded jeans A sweatshirt and an old baseball cap To cover her greasy hair When I realzied what she was I laughed Not so much at her but at him I look in the mirror and look at myself Not only did he give up on something great physiclly But he gave up on a good heart A good soul and an intelligent mind With much to offer Maybe she does too but he didn't give me a chance To prove much more than my body
Reason for writing:
Oh when will the boys learn there is more to a girl than her body?
