in the dark

by the lonely - Taurus

in the dark I look 
I look for the way
away out of the world
the world I made
In time I will
but for now I sit
I look for the path
the path of hope
you think I know
I know nothing 
it is so fading
the dark is at my door
and I let it in
with no way to be
I looking but I find nothing

Reason for writing:

    Love the kind you look for all your life. 
I had that at one time but gave it up because of
a friend.  Now I'm looking for that one more time.
