My life has been a whirlwind of chaos and pain. The tears I've shed have poured down like rain. I almost gave in to death's powerful grip. So many times, I've caught myself before I could slip. I've walked through sands that felt like hell. And yet, I have only a few stories to tell. I've dreamt of a love that would save my soul. I've prayed that my heart would again be made whole. I've danced with evil and played with the fire. I've tried everything to fulfill my life's true desires. And then there you were, you stopped me in my tracks. I'm moving forward now, never looking back. My path has turned, or so it would seem. I'm walking in sunlight, not sure what it means. My heart begins to race at the sound of your name. I wonder silently, do you feel the same. I am left wondering, where do I go from here. Do I turn left or right, is true happiness near. One day at a time is all I can stand. Lets walk together now, hand in hand.
