A Poet with a Lost Soul?? Lost heart A darkened road that doesn’t seem to last A rocky cliff Yet the clouds yonder seem to part A lil ray of light Peeks thru And tickles my feet I take a giant leap Yet I should have given more As now I lie at the bottom of where I began I look up and the sunlight has disappeared I weep And slowly begin my climb For in total despair My soul searches for that light that once was shared It will not stop Nor fade away Because only in you do it trust It see's more than a fragile child It grows each day And pulls itself closer To the truth To what it knows To You.
