How To Let Go

It struck me hard last night
Instantly the tears fell down
I refused, rejected, and begged
In less than 24 hours
So I let some tears fall 
Complained to a friend
Told me not to do anything stupid
I went home
Ate some icecream like nothing happened
Today I have moved on
Didn't let that feeling get to me
When I passed him in the hall
After all these years
I have finally learned how to let go
