raindrops of teardrops

his fists become enraged,
and meet with her cheek.
her tears fall like a rainstorm,
and drop at her feet.
he yells and screams,
and hits her again and again.
she stands there, swaying
like a ragdoll, trying to stand up to him.
one more blow, 
she is on the ground.
he unloosens his belt,
and pulls his pants down.
she tries to stop,
but he is too strong.
with her raindrops of teardrops,
he presses on.
when he is finished,
he tells her he loves her.
and puts her to bed,
tucks in the covers.
she says night daddy,
with clouds in her eyes.
wondering if this will happen again
when tomorrow stops by.
