Lonely Girl

by Danielle Mason-Shakspeare - Sagittarius

I can see a girl over there
Sitting by her window
And playing with her hair.

I can see her eyes,
There are tears in them,
I see them as she looks to the sky.

I can see she needs someone,
She likes to sit by the window,
Maybe there she isn't alone.

I can see the girl leaning
To open her window,
And she stays there kneeling.

I can see the girl look outside,
She can not see me,
So I need not hide.

I can see that she is thinking,
I think I know what about -
A feeling in my stomach is sinking.

That girl I once saw
Eventually jumped
And is no more.

Reason for writing:

The way I felt a few months back.
