Life Is So Unfair

by Chuck Pool - Virgo

I feel the pain of my lost love
It weighs heavy on my soul
And will forever keep from me
A sense that I am whole
Your words to me were well rehearsed
And clouded my perception
But I believed in what you said
Not aware of your deception
Now the memories feed the pain
And this loss I have to mourn
But how do I get over you
And get my life re-born
Will I ever learn to trust again
Or love with a heart that's free
Or will I meet another you
Who has only lies for me
How will I know the difference
Or will I even care
Since I am troubled by the thought
That life is so unfair
