Thank You For Killing Me

by Erica Hughes - Libra

When you walked out of my life,
I started to die, more slower, and painfully,
than before.
I begged you to stay with me,
but still you hurried out of the door.
you plunged your hand into my chest,
and ripped my beating heart,
from between my breast,
I gave you more,
and you gave me less,
agonizing unrequainted love,
left me bitter, lonely and depressed.

The gun to my head,
you love me never more,
your bloody footprints,
leave its mark, unto my door.
Your gaping chest cavity,
no matter where I be,
the world wasn't worth living for,
so I thank you love, for killing me.
