Outkast

by sasha - Aries

he sits all alone in the cafeteria nibbling on his sandwhich
he never looks up just continues to chew
paper wads and ketchup packets are thrown his way
this kind of treatment happens to him everyday
he walks down the hall and they shout out nerd
he pulls up his pants turns around and ignores their cruel words
he only wanted to belong to be accepted
but they treated him like an outkast
because he was different
he never said a harsh thing to anyone
in fact he keeps to himself alot
stays in his room and watches television while the other kids his age go out to parties
he has never been kissed nor has he ever had a date
none of the girls would give him a chance he was too gross and so easy to hate
a very smart young man with a hi I Q
when someone mentions his name they look at you and say who
oh the geek the boy with the bad clothing and glasses
A good person inside
he only wanted a chance to belong
tears of frustration at night he would cry
his mother asked him what was wrong
he couldnt bare to say
he will go to school tomorrow
sit down at the table all alone
those same kids will come by knock over his tray
laugh and make fun of him like they do almost everyday

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem about this boy in high school..everyday the "Popular" kids would torture him, the sad thing is no one would ever take up for him or help him out
