TexMex Taxi Cab

by J James - Pisces

we left the misery pit

where you're paid by the hour

we drank

we drove

no not in that particular order

scared?

we made melodic disorder

met up with she

she smiled

gave us jellibeans

and i felt her flesh within my bare fists

sigh

groan

we told stories of children who we were

and children who we remain

and she sang

and we both smiled

with the same affectionate grin

and exhaled with the same amazement

but different love
dripped out the corners of our lips

then they kissed

i sat inhaling menthol gel from my
fingertips

love again?

love is not we

nor they

and certainly not you

but me

who could make that clearer

but a texmex taxi cab

passenger side window seat

and a sore throat

she rolled me hours ago

i smoked it peacefully regretful

me, my maroon collar

and a heart dollar

unfolded before my eyes

all over again

strike two

2

sign

groan

then he finally pulled over

third building to your right

"g'nite"

3:59 in the morning

Reason for writing:

well well...i havent been on this page in ages...god i remember when i was a regular here...

but moving on...just another piece of usual rambling...another chunk of unrequited love biting me in the ass lol-------> J James
