Mom Words are seldom expressed, Hugs are rarely shared. Despite these two things, I hope you know I care. Fights are often happening, But laughs are there too. Even though it's rarely said, I hope you know I love you. Sometimes we never talk, But then sometimes we do. I really do care, And I know that you care too. We have had many fights, And arguements through the years. There has been a lot of yelling, And a lot of tears. Let's put these things aside, And change our ways today. Let's communicate with each other, And say the things we need to say.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem for my mom. We haven't always got along too well and I want her to know I really do Love her. We have trouble showing each other our feelings.
