Contrast of Sin and Shelter

by Ryan Ulbricht - Capricorn

In the villa of sin two puppets lecture of one terribly demeaning wretched conjecture
Why does he so lavishly, laugh in the toiling face of adversity
Why does he steal from the poor when he owns shelter
The grim poor that has no shelter; and are left helplessly lying under the burning sun to melt and swelter
Why does he not ponder of saving the last sip of precious water
And joyously lie about the gift he bought her
The gift he stole for her because of greed
While selfishly fulfilling his every need
And thereby finding himself remote, failing to be freed
Inevitably caused by these ever so tragic sinful deeds
