Me Describing You By: Ann M. Hampton The sky today seems cold and gray Just like you were the other day. You were as narrow as a pointed needle, Ever piercing my soul. The tree in my backyard Is just like you, For it is as empty; It has shed it's beauty too. You are as poor as my bank account To which I refer. You bled me dry like the empty well In my backyard. Your gossip speaking tongue Is like the tongue of a snake Ever moving From place to place. Your temper is as unpredictable as a tornado Blowing into town, Ever destroying anything In its path.
