Like bugs to bright lights
That annoying buzzing sound
And that satisfying zap
as you fly right in.

You deny to yourself 
How you yearn for her
and ache to be with her.
you maybe able to speak the lies
but acting 
you fail at.
you jump at her mediocre work
and shower her with appraisal
surrounding her with love and affection
you fool yourself
when you lie to yourself
about your attraction to her.

do whatever
let's you sleep at night
