It Was Disgusting

by Nicole M. - Gemini

Aimlessly walking through the library
Searching for a spot to study
A empty desk
and a chair
Situated, I notice
Old ripped off fingernails
Brown and dried from age
My stomach turned
And bile began to drudge
Up Up Up Up
It was disgusting.

Sitting in public
Minding my own business
As he sat down
The smell
Of cheap cologne and BO
Filled my lungs.
Lightheaded and nausious
I left in a hurry
It was disgusting.

The terrible truth
Drilled into my head
Right into this fragile brain
The world turning upside down
As it peeled my skin off
From the inside
Much worse than of the other two
It was disgusting....
