If He Were Here

by Heather Williams - Libra

If he were here with me
I would just sit there and hold his hand
I would let him speak
I cannot hear his voice here
He says he is done with relationships
That the last one kicked him in the ass
How do you betray a computer screen?
I see his name on the screen
My heart jumps up...
If he were here with me
I would sit there, stare into his eyes
If he were here my heart would always be at ease
