Goodbye

Forgotten how to flow
And lost my way
I let all of it gush out
And never regulated.
Now it's all gone
And replenishing it
May take some time.
Bland and shallow words
Are the only ones I hear
Nothing new and different
Comes from this anymore.
You all know it too
You've made me see,
And I say thank you,
That I'm burned out
It's only fair
To step back
And see where I stand.
This has taken a turn for the worse
Now taking it upon myself
To make it right
So for now I say
Goodbye.
