Ugly Duckling

So I am not as appealing as you are 
I might be a little different 
Every one is in a way 
What is wrong with being unique?
Don’t infuriate me with petty differences 
I am just struggling to survive until I 
Can find another like me 
So shut your squeaky voices and 
Live your life as you please just
Leave me out of it 

Feeling unloved and bewildered 
Out pops an ugly duckling just like me 
Now I realize life isn’t half bad when you 
Have some one to share it with
