Fade

by Heather Williams - Libra

We've both been fading
Slowly away into a blood red world
Lit only by a black darkness
With so many things to worry about
Why haven't I returned?
For reassurance that we'll never fall again
I lit a candle
The red and black fades away now
White light has sparked in my sould
For many nights I've dreampt
About the green and purple field
Where we meet and embrace
My only thought...
What I wouldn't give
To run my fingers through your hair
