Drift Off To Dream

by Heather Williams - Libra

Coming out of the shower
Warm skin surrounded by cold air
I fell onto the bed wrapped in cotton
The towel fell across my face
And the darkness made me drift off to dream
About the boy in Kansas who effects my thought
About the boy who effects my heart
In such a way it makes me feel like
I am standing at Heaven's gates
I drifted off to dream about the sweetest thing
This poor sad heart has ever known
The green grass and the long purples
And we meet although I can't see it
The feeling in my chest just explodes
