It took me awhile, To talk to you, You'll never understand, What you've put me through. I never thought, I'd have a chance, But you proved me wrong, With just one glance. All I wanted, Was to be with you, I guess I could say, My wish came true. One night, Just us two, It meant the world to me, I couldn't say the same for you. Later on, You treated me like dirt, You didn't care, You didn't see how much it hurt. Now it's as if, It never took place, You walk right by, And can't look me in the face. I guess I've concluded, It just wasn't meant to be, I hope your happy, Without me.
Reason for writing:
I thought that I'd be happy if I got just one chance with the guy I liked but after getting that one chance I figured out I wanted more...
