Man Without a Face

by Nicole M. - Gemini

Beside he sits
A blank face
Covering a static soul
No feature found
A search for a personality
Was never done.
Just a man
Sitting, hugging, touching me
Treated like a cadaver
I just know your form
And that is all
Just assimilate you
Since you are just like everyone else.

I don't care
What you should be to me
Not friend nor family
Just a man
That's all you should be.
No smile
And no life
It just makes it
Much easier.
