Successfully I have eluded for so long
Now I painfully contemplate
What has sent you screaming back.
Before you
The light was warm and empowering
Now I shut my eyes to it
For it is blinding.
Sound was beautiful music
And birds singing
Now all that I hear is off key
And crows screeching.
My head was calm
No veins contracted
Or muscles tensed.
But now that you are back
No blood is flowing and
My muscles are so taunt
Even my bones are crying out.
My migraine
My miserable migraine.
