"A TREASURED FRIEND"
Friendships may come and friendships may go.
But when you have found a true friend, you will surely
know.
A friend is there when your in dispair
or when your heart is in need of repair.
A friend always takes the time to care
even when there's no time to spare.
Its never a burden when a friend is heavyladen.
A friendship is built on both laughter and tears,
and weathers the storms throughout the years.
So always remember there's no greater treasure
then a friend who loves you beyond measure.
It is true a friend in need is certainly a friend

I have a wonderful friend for the past 23 years and this poem I've written describes the kind of friend she has been to me for all these years. We have had many ups and downs but that is what makes any friendship strong. And I only hope she thinks of me in the same way.
